Young women in the Teen Women’s Initiative created anti-violence mural in partnership with Groundswell Community Mural Project. The teen women involved envisioned the creation of the mural as the initial phase of a multi-year community project. The young women created a portable mural so that they could use it in various venues to spark community-wide discourse about violence and the interconnections of racism, sexism, and other oppressions that cause violence.

Promoting Peace and Safety in our Communities

CAE encourages participation by CAE students, program participants, and members of the wider CAE-community in various community projects focused on ending violence.
