CAE has a diversified funding base that includes fee-for-service (for both on-site courses and off-site workshops/courses), foundation and corporate grants, government support, and individual giving. For the September 2002 – August 2003 fiscal year, CAE’s funding sources were divided as follows: Fee-for-service/Earned Income—20%; Foundation/Corporate Grants—33%; Government Support—15%; Individual/Major Donors/Events—31%; and Other Income—1%.

All programs are offered on a sliding-scale basis. The Teen Women’s Initiative and the Survivors Prevention and Healing Project are free to all participants in order to ensure accessibility. Additionally, to keep our programs affordable to those with lower incomes, CAE provides free child-care for all our programs.
