WHAT: |
CAE is hosting its 3rd annual Punch-a-thon to raise funds to provide free self-defense education and training for survivors of domestic violence and relationship abuse. The Punch-a-thon is CAE's version of a walkathon.
On May 31st, 2008, participants will learn martial arts punching and basic self-defense techniques from trained instructors. Participants will aim to complete 1,000 punches representing confidence and empowerment for all survivors of violence. Each participant will be collecting pledges per punch, or can register the day-of with a small donation. |
