WHAT:
CAE is hosting its 3rd annual Punch-a-thon to raise funds to provide free self-defense education and training for survivors of domestic violence and relationship abuse.  The Punch-a-thon is CAE's version of a walkathon.

On May 31st, 2008, participants will learn martial arts punching and basic self-defense techniques from trained instructors.  Participants will aim to complete 1,000 punches representing confidence and empowerment for all survivors of violence.  Each participant will be collecting pledges per punch.
 
   
WHEN: Saturday, May 31, 2008, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
   
WHERE: Prospect Park: Come to the grassy triangle between the entrance and exit roads at the Grand Army entrance. The event is free and open to the public.
